Ipek Demir to give a keynote talk in India

Ipek Demir will give a keynote lecture for the Migration Governance and Diaspora Engagement (Global Programme Series) programme in India, and its over 200 students on 20 January 2022.

Her talk is entitled "How to understand diaspora better: focus on historical, social and political dynamics".

The programme is a transnational partnership between GRFDT, iDiaspora, ADEPT and CISAN.

The programme is interdisciplinary, community-focused and impact-driven: the audience comprises students, scholars, experts from government, international organisations, academia, civil society, as well as the private sector.
