CMS Conference on Re-Orienting the (Global) South

The 3rd International Conference on Critical Muslim Studies: Re-Orienting the (Global) South took place from 24 - 26 June on campus, organised by by ReOrient, the Journal of Critical Muslim Studies, in association with the Centre for Ethnicity Studies (CERS) and the International Islamophobia Studies and Research Association (IISRA). This event featured sessions ranging from decolonial pedagogic practices to critiques of methodological nationalism. The conference brought together distinguished international scholars and early-career academics to reflect on the improbabilities and possibilities of reorienting the Global South.
